Sun safe education and skin cancer screening is an integral part of the LGIS Health and Wellbeing Program. It seeks to support your workforce, in particular outdoor workers, who are exposed to damaging UV rays on a regular basis. Appointments take 15 minutes and include a full body, comprehensive skin assessment conducted by a qualified skin clinician or a GP professionally trained in skin cancer detection. Education is provided on how to check for and prevent skin cancer in the future. Referrals to a specialist are made where required.
