LGIS Income Protection enables WA Local Governments, as employers, to provide group income protection cover for their staff as an employee benefit – for a competitive single rate.
If an employee becomes unable to work due to accident or illness, LGIS Income Protection can replace up to 80% of their fortnightly income for a period of up to two years.
Coverage is 24/7 for illnesses and injuries that occur outside the workplace, with benefits activated after a waiting period of just 10 working days (conditions apply – see the Policy Wording/PDS for full details).
